Glamour Magazine recently published an article about the destruction of a generation of female babies in India. It seems the general populace is being pressured to abort female children before they are born, because females require a dowry and are not considered to be substantial contributors to wealth. The scarcity of women for brides has, therefore, reached a critical point. The tension level among unmarried men in India has risen to a dangerous level. Available women are being sold at top price as brides. Some East Indian men seem to think that American women should be sold as brides, as the availability of women in the United States seems to outweigh that of men.
